This is how we build our personal RS 181.2 (affectionately known as “the Dot 2”) frames. It’s a zero-compromise approach, and we’ve done it this way so you get to experience the bike exactly as we intended it. It is hands down the most powerful and quietest eeb we’ve released to date, up and down. We’ve refined the frame to reduce weight & bulk around the bottom bracket area without compromising our CAT 5 level DH strength rating. We’ve also improved the cable routing for a cleaner, more integrated finish, no more cables next to the shock. This iteration of the RS eBike benefits from everything we’ve learned since our 2022 downhill race bike, refined across three generations of RS eBikes. The Crestline RS 181.2 delivers all the watts, zero bulk, a more refined shape, and our continued no-compromises approach to performance.

While we ideally recommend sourcing a battery locally if possible, we do offer an option to ship one directly to you. The price of the frame or complete bike includes free delivery of the battery to DG Parcel’s office in Florida, USA. Once delivered to DG Parcel, you’ll need to coordinate directly with them yourself for the next steps in your battery’s journey. While you should confirm with DG Parcel, shipping costs are typically $300 USD only for the battery (This service has been used successfully for customers in the UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Switzerland, South Africa and more).
